| Comments: | Came across your site when looking for Bryntelych, and was interested to see your comments. However, were you aware that the dwelling currently called Ffrwdfal (or Froodvale) in Conwil Caio was previously called Bryntelych? The name was only changed in around 1863-4 when John Morgan Davies of Ffrwdfal/Froodvale, (subsequently called Old Froodvale and now Llys Cothi)built a new house as an extension to the existing Bryntelych, and called it Froodvale Mansion (subsequently called Ty Brasil and now back to Plas Ffrwdfal! If I had realised in time I would have called it Bryntelych!) Cefntelych is the neighbouring farm to us. |
